We are a busy, well-established flooring company looking for a motivated, customer-focused In-Home Flooring Sales & Measuring Consultant to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, have an eye for design, and are eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you. No flooring estimating experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to build a rewarding career in the flooring industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet with customers in their homes to discuss their flooring needs
• Measure rooms and create accurate floor plans
• Recommend flooring products that fit the customer’s style, needs, and budget
• Prepare estimates and sales proposals
• Create seam diagrams and material layouts
• Explain product features, pricing, warranties, and installation options
• Answer customer questions and provide outstanding customer service throughout the sales process
• Coordinate with our showroom staff, installers, and project managers to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Stay current on new flooring products and industry trends

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing your schedule
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Experience in flooring, home improvement, interior design, construction, or in-home sales
• Experience measuring spaces or reading floor plans
• Estimating or project management experience
