Job Summary:

Kennedy Carpet Cleaning is seeking hardworking, reliable, and customer-focused Carpet Cleaning Technicians to join our team. Technicians will be responsible for performing professional carpet, upholstery, and tile cleaning services in residential and commercial settings throughout Massachusetts. No prior experience is required — we provide full training!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cleaning equipment such as truck-mounted and portable carpet cleaning machines.
  • Clean carpets, upholstery, area rugs, hardwood, LVT, VCT, tile, and grout using company procedures and products.
  • Handle job site setup, pre-inspection, and post-cleaning cleanup.
  • Educate customers about our services and offer add-on services when appropriate.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous attitude with all customers and coworkers.
  • Ensure equipment and vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and stocked daily.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all job sites.
  • Complete all required paperwork, invoices, and digital logs accurately.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in various physical environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Experience in carpet cleaning, janitorial work, or floor care is a plus but not required.


Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Saturday availability (some weekend and evening work may be required)
  • Shifts typically begin in the morning and vary based on job schedules.

Job Summary:

Kennedy Carpet is looking for skilled and motivated Carpet and Flooring Installers to join our installation team. As a Carpet and flooring Installer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring installations in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and takes pride in craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install carpet and other flooring materials according to specifications.
  • Remove old flooring when necessary and prepare surfaces for installation.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools such as carpet stretchers, tack strips, knee kickers, and seam rollers.
  • Ensure proper alignment, seam sealing, and trimming of carpet to ensure a professional finish.
  • Load and unload installation materials and keep the job site clean and safe.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, project managers, and team members regarding job status and any challenges.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and installation standards.
  • Responsible to have your own tools.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in carpet or flooring installation preferred (training may be available for the right candidate).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

You’ll be the face of our showroom, guiding customers through carpet, hard wood, vinyl, and other flooring options.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in the showroom and assist them in selecting flooring products that suit their style, budget, and functional needs.
  • Provide product knowledge, design advice, and flooring recommendations.
  • Prepare and present quotes, pricing, and product comparisons.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and open orders to close sales.
  • Coordinate with the installation and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Keep up to date with product lines, promotions, and industry trends.
  • Enter customer data and sales activity into the system accurately.
  • Help manage sample inventory and ordering of showroom materials.
